Terre Melange Futures 2025

This estate grown Rhone-style blend is our take on a "GSM" and it features Grenache, Syrah, Mourvedre, Peloursin and sometimes Carignan. The floral and fruity Grenache is complemented by the darker, brooding flavors of Syrah and Mourvedre, with Peloursin as a mysterious wild card component, resulting in a wine with earthy notes, uplifted by bright acidity and silky tannins.

A significant component of this wine, we believe the Peloursin grape to be unique to our vineyard here in Dry Creek. Peloursin, a nearly extinct grape typically formerly found only in a few places in the French Alps, was discovered in the 120-year-old Block 4 of our vineyard originally planted circa 1895, and propagated to other plantings in the vineyard in 2008 and 2016.
