Sagrantino 2024 / Aged 16 Months
Our first standalone version of the bold Italian varietal Sagrantino offers a very concentrated, full-bodied, rare and intriguing expression of these estate-grown vines. This wine shows a spectacular deep red inkiness with intense aromas of black cherry, plum, and dark berries laced with herbal notes of sage, balsamic earthiness, and a whisper of licorice or cocoa from strong oak integration. The finish lingers with mineral undertones and a subtle smokiness, making it age-worthy (10–20+ years), though it certainly can be enjoyed in its youth.
