Petite Sirah 2023 / Aged 16 Months
Estate Grown 100% Petite Sirah (also known as Durif) a grape originally derived from the French varieties Syrah and Peloursin. Other than the ancient vines grown in Block 4, most of our Petite Sirah was planted in 2003.
Big, dark, and delicious. Loads of blackberry, blueberry, and dark chocolate on the nose, with a little pepper and vanilla bean. The palate is rich and bold with ripe black fruit. It’s like blackberry compote & pie crust with cocoa, and a hint of herbs and spice. Bright acidity, and a long, lingering finish.
